Hey guys!
Ja, ich weiss, ich habe mich eeeeewig nicht mehr gemeldet oder gepostet. Mein letzter Post war noch zu der Zeit als ich noch in den USA war und noch 61 tage dort übrig hatte. Seit dem hat sich sooo vieles verändert.
Erstens bin ich offensichtlich nicht mehr in den USA, sondern schon seit einem Jahr und 10 Tagen wieder daheim in Deutschland. Und auch in den letzten Wochen USA hat sich viel getan. Doch in der Zeit hatte ich einfach nicht die Zeit zu posten und wollte auch die letzten paar Wochen eher für mich selbst genießen und erleben und jede Sekunde auskosten, die mir dort blieb.
Auch nach den USA brauchte ich erstmal einige Zeit für mich selbst, um mit der Sache zurecht zu kommen und auch heute wissen auch wichtige Menschen in meinem Leben noch nicht alles über mein Auslandsjahr. Es braucht erstens Zeit bis man darüber reden möchte und seine Erfahrungen mit anderen Leuten teilen möchte und weiterhin denke ich auch, dass es viele Menschen einfach nerven würde, wenn ich ständig davon erzähle, wie toll mein Leben in den USA war.
Vor zehn tagen war ich genau seit einem Jahr wieder in Deutschland und glaubt mir es hat sich sehr viel verändert. Als ich nach Hause kam, wurde ich erstmal direkt mit einem Überraschungs-Willkommens-feier empfangen. Viele meiner Freunde standen in meinem Zimmer als ich die Tür öffnete und meine ersten Worte waren: "Oh shit! Ich wusste es!". Mit diesen Worten bin ich aus meinem Zimmer gelaufen ohne irgendjemandem "hallo" zu sagen und ab ins Wohnzimmer. Kam den anderen vielleicht bisschen böse vor, aber das hat mich in dem Moment einfach überfordert. Als sie jedoch dann alle ins Wohnzimmer kamen und mich begrüßt haben, war ich wirklich glücklich darüber, dass sie alle da waren und mich nicht vergessen haben.
Aber auch das alles ist schon über ein Jahr her. Es bringt nichts jetzt alles hier zu beschreiben. Wenn ihr irgendwelche Fragen habt, oder euch etwas interessiert, dann fragt und ich werde auf jeden Fall antworten, aber ansonsten wäre es bisschen viel hier jetzt alles zu erzählen.
Lasst mich nur eins sagen: Wer nach einem Auslandsjahr nach Hause kommt, muss sich auf vieeeeel Stress gefasst machen und darauf, dass sich vieles verändert hat über das Jahr. Aber keine Angst, es sind nicht zwingender Weise negative Veränderungen. Es können auch positive Veränderungen sein und der Stress kommt auch eher mit den positiven Seiten des Lebens, wie Freunde, Familie und Spaß.
Naja, dies war jetzt erstmal wieder mein erster Post nach dieser eeeewig langen Zeit. Es tut mir sehr leid, aber ich hatte einfach wirklich keine Zeit auch nur in Blogger reinzuschauen. Schule hier, Arbeit da und das noch alles mit Freunden und Familie zu verbinden ist nicht ganz einfach. Da bleiben solche Dinge wie der Blog eben einfach liegen leider.
Aber ich habe mir Vorgenommen ab jetzt wieder öfter zu bloggen. Beispielsweise möchte ich euch von meinen zukünftigen Reiseplänen erzählen, wie es nach dem Auslandsjahr mit der Schule weiterging und lauter solche Dinge. Also, wenn es euch interessiert und ihr mir nicht allzu böse seid, dass ich nicht gebloggt habe, dann schaut einfach mal ab und zu vorbei und stellt Fragen falls ihr welche habt!
Allen die dieses Jahr ins Ausland gehen wünsche ich unendlich viel Spaß und bitte genießt jede Sekunde, die ihr erleben dürft! :)

Soccer, Concerts and only 61 days left !
Hey guys!
Oh my... I am sooooo sorry that I haven't posted at all for such a long time. I was just really really busy and to be honest: I just want to enjoy my life here and every minute I've got.
I don't even know where to start because there is so much happening every day but well.. I will forget most of it anyway haha.
Okay I am just gonna skip february and start with my Birthday haha.
On my birthday's week end my host mom, sister, Mariah, her grandma and me went to Kansas City from Friday till Monday (we wanted to leave sunday but the high ways were closed because of the snow storm). It was a really fun week end. We mostly just went shopping and on my birthday (saturday) we went to a Scotty McCreery Concert. Seriously guys I have neverbeen into country music until then haha. But this guy is awesome.
Well the week end was awesome and I am really thankful for it :) THANKS guys!
The wednesday after that (it was our week of spring break - yah haha only a week) my sister, host mom and me went to a Taylor Swift concert in Omaha. OMG people out there. Taylor Swift's concert was AMAZING!!! Sami and I were in the pit ( so in between the different parts of the stage) and yah we had soo much fun. Taylor did an awesome job. She did everything. She walked through the seats, she performed 2 songs on another stage, she FLEW over the people haha. It was just perfect and a really really good time :)
Spring break is already over for 3 weeks now but hey we don't have school today or monday so yah a little last break before it goes back to school through the end without any break haha.
So then there is soccer :)
I just wanted to relax the spring without doing any sports besides PE class but hey who cares haha. I decided to try out for soccer just for fun, since I' ve never played before (next to PE classes in Germany) and yah. Surprisingly I was god enough to make the JV (Junior Varsity) team at East :) You don't even know how happy I was when they told me. And Léa french exchange student at my school who joined us since January, made the team also. And yah soccer is just soooo much fun. Of course I don't have that much free time anymore since we have practice everyday after school from like 3:30 till 5:30 and even saturday mornings, but hey IT IS FUN! I think it is a really good thing to spend your time on haha. We just had our third game today. And well we lost today BUT we won our first two games (5:0 and 3:0) and yah today was just an exception. We will catch up again.
well let's just say I LOVE IT! haha
Oh and I love Nebraskan weather guys. Just putting that out there right now haha.
Yah the winter was pretty cold but at least we had a loot of snow. And there were always times when it was pretty nice outside, you just learn to enjoy those days. And as soon as it got cold again there was snow and most often a snow day with it haha. Well now the spring is finally here and it is as warm as it is in summer in Germany haha. Today we had 24 degrees celsius outside and yah I would say you can call that spring :) The best thing about Nebraskan weather though is that there is really not much rain. we still only had like 7 times rain here since I am in the USA and yah I love to go out of the house without even wondering if it could rain or not. Here you don't need to carry an umbrella with you the whole time haha.
Well yah I think that was pretty much it. I just enjoy my time here and I can't even imagine going back right now. Not at all. Don't take that wrong and don't think I don't miss you guys or I am not thinking about you but my life here is soo close to perfect and I am just afraid of leaving it. I just love my host family so much and my friends here are awesome. Even school is fun here haha. I just love my life here.
Well, I'll try to keep up with blogging for my last few weeks here and pictures will follow sometime ( maybe haha).

Hey Guys!
OMG I can't even believe how long I didn't write a post. Well, but I really didn't have time to do so and WHEN I had time I didn't feel like it haha.
soo well since it has been such a long time I don't even know everything that happened anymore haha.
Did I tell you about the finals ? Or about the Ballett I went to (the Nutcracker) ? I have no idea.
well finals are obviously the final tests in each class before break. So while you guys back in germany already had break since wednesday, we had finals wednesday, thursday and friday and then finally winter break :) I don't even know why I am writing in english cuz all my american friends will know what finals are but yah it just feels normal right now so I'm gonna go on with it haha.
ehhhm yah the first week of winter break was pretty stressful cuz obviously it was christmas :) Christmas day itself wasn't that exciting. My host parents and all my host siblings went out to my oldest host sister's house to celebrate there. When we got there we first had a really good break fast ( with cinnamon rolls ! Enough of a christmas present for me haha) yah and then we spent whole 3 hours with unwrapping our presents. My host family went a little crazy on me, I never had that many presents since I was like 8 haha. But it was fun :) After that we just hung out, played CLUE and then we all watch a movie. Christmas Carol, of course!
Yah the saturday after that, we went out to Omaha to celebrate Christmas with my host dad's side of the family :) It was really fun especially cuz of the "Secret Santa" game we played. It wasn't really secret santa but it is soo weird that it doesn't have a name haha. You had to answer weird questions and then you get a sheet from another person and you had to buy a present for him/ her without knowing who it was or even if it was a woman or a man. It was really funny to see the presents that came out.
Then the Sunday I went to my Lc's house for a little Christmas party. We ate a lot and played some funny and awkward games. It was the last day I got to spend with Dania and Eike, who both left the USA last week to go back to their old life in germany. I am already so afraid when I think about it. It is so weird to think about that I won't see all the people here everyday anymore and some people I won't even see ever again. I don't want that to happen! I don't want to go back!
Yah then that night we went up to Omaha and spend the night there so we could go to the airport pretty early in the morning.
PHOENIX ! So we went there for a wedding of relatives and we decided to go a week earlier just to havesome fun with them. and yaaah:
I am gonna move there guys! Seriously. Believe me. It is just the most beautiful place ever. Awesome warm weather (it was the coldest winter for a long time with 70° F / 21 °C :D), awesome mountains to hike (Sami (sister), Greg (brother), Chelsea and I hiked on the Camelback mountain one day and it was just soooo much fun , next to being pretty dangerous though :D) and I guess I don't even have to talk about the palm trees and cacti everywhere.
yah so we hung out there. Shopping, sight seeing and Sami and I spent a lot of our time at the pool and hot tub :) it was awesome. The best part about Phoenix was of course the wedding! (All the best to you, Nate and Madison!) It was just too beautiful to even describe it. I will never forget this day! Thank you all for this experience! :)
yah and then we got back on Sunday night. 10 pm in Omaha! We finally got home at about 12 pm. Then unpacking my stuff and searching my school stuff together cuz that was the day before schools started again. yah let's just say I was a little little tiny bit tired on Monday haha.
yah so my new schedule:
1. US History
2. human behavior
3. AP French
4. Theatre
5. TA german (TA means I am assistant)
6. Contemporary Literatur
7. Hip Hop
It is a pretty fun and easy schedule. I don't really have homework anymore and yah. German is probably the funniest class ever :D Since I am assistant I don't do anything in it than talking to my weird friends (yah I hope you read that Jon and Asa :D) and do homework (if I have some) for other classes. In addition to that I have 2nd lunch and since we have 3 lunches since this semester the 2nd lunch is in the middle of 5th period haha. That means We are going to German class for 30 minutes, lunch for 30 minutes and then back to german class again for like 20 minutes haha. yah it is weird :D
oh and of course we can't forget how incredibly cute it is to hear all the people talk in German with their accent! It is just sooo cute :)
yah well and yesterday night, I went to a hypnotize show with my host dad and sister :) it was so interesting and soooo funny :D cuz he told us we can try it out if we want to and so my sister and I were watching at this light and listening to his voice. Fortunately I woke up early enough cuz he came around and took people from the audience onto the stage. and YES my sister went up haha. She did everything and she was soo funny, everybody just watched her, looked at my dad and me and laughed. She rocked the show. Just bad that she doesn't know anything of what she did up there :D But hey we're having a DVD coming , so that she can finally see what weird stuff she did in front of all those people :D
Probably funniest evening in my whole life!
yah I guess that's it for now.
So yah I am still alive and I am just happy here!
of and by the way: MY LC IS THE BEST! :))

Funny story, sick and first snow. Day 108 :)
Hey guys :)
okay I have to tell you something really funny. So yah I went through my old posts today and read my post "Homecoming" again.
Do you remember how I wrote about this guy who asked his Homecoming date in front of everyone at the Pep Ralley and how cute I thought this is?
Yah right, just so that you know. The girl is my new host sister now and the guy is her boyfriend :D We just laughed about how funny this is. I didn't know her and now she is my new sister! How small the world is!
Well besides that I was sick yesterday. I had a upset stomach. It still feels a little it weird eating something but it's alright now. Well because of that I stayed home today, watched a few movies and when I watched out of the window: SNOW !!!
yah I saw my first american snow falling. It didn't stay on the ground, but on the glass table we have in our yard. I just hope there will be a lot of snow this year. :)
I am here for 108 days now and slowly I recognize that my time here gets less with every day. It just oes too fast. I have only 184 days left :O
Oh and to my german friends: don't think I don't care about you anymore just because I don't write you. I just don't have the time for it. I can't live two lives. But I still love and miss you :)

Thanksgiving, Black Friday and incredible happy!
Hey guys :)
did you recognized that I always start like that ? Kind of boring, but it's just the only thing I can think of haha.
First of all: I have a break !!! yah finally I had a break of 4 days haha. Well it's not much but it feels really good to know that I still have a sunday although I already felt like sunday today :)
Well the last to days were pretty busy though.
Thanksgiving was on thursday and it was a really long day haha. We left our house at 7:30 am cause we drove to Omaha. An hour later when we got there first we watched the awesome, big Belgum-American Parade (guys it were only maybe 12 men walking down the street with flags in their hands haha) and then church. And although it was a catholic mess it was still really different to the messes in Germany. The music was cooler and it was a way shorter. After church we went to a hall for breakfast/lunch. There I already got to know most of the family from my host dad's side. Well there was a ton of donuts and beagles and muffins haha I felt like in heaven. Yah well after hanging out with some of my host cousins, we went to my host mom's family for dinner. There were so many people and I had a few problems to remember all the names haha. But it was funny though especially because Sami (my sister) and I just fell asleep on the couch after dinner for 2 hours. Well dinner wasn't really dinner because we already ate at 3 pm haha. But it was sooooo good. Guys Turkey, mashed potatoes, cheesy potatoes, there was a lot of really yummy food.
After Sami's and my nap we even got desserts too. I just ate Apple squares and Pumpkin Pie cause I was soo full but there was a lot of food besides that too.
Well then we went to my dad's side of the family again for even more desserts ( I couldn't eat anything more besides two little cream puffs haha. Yah we just chilled there and talked and played "Pass the Ace" (a card game that only my host family plays I guess). It was just fun.
I LOVE THANKSGIVING!
and well when we are talking about THANKSgiving:
I am sooo thankful for everything right now. I am thankful for my friends back in Germany, my american friends, the opportunity to be here and especially for my family and my american family. I just love them!
Well then yesterday: Black Friday.
Okay maybe it is really special when you go shopping at night but I was to lazy to get up at 4 am when I had come home at 1 am, just to go shopping and stand in line. So I just went to the mall with a friend yesterday afternoon. I didn't buy anything and yah. For me it wasn't that special haha. But on our way back home from Omaha, we drove by a "best buy store" and we saw the people standing in line. The line was so long, they even stood around the whole building (and it's not a little one :D). I was so glad not to stand in line there.
Well this morning then my host mom and I went out for lunch with a man who she used to work with, because he wanted to get to know me cause he has a german background. It was fun although it was weird talking german again haha. It's normal to talk to my family and german friends in german but with people I don't know it's just weird in the beginning. But it was fun to hear about their connection to Germany and I hope we will meet again. I even got to know about a new band. And guess what, it's a german one haha. I already love their music and I am really glad they told me about them. I am gonna put the link to their website on here, so you can listen to them and read about them.
Well I guess that's it for now again. I am just really really happy here and I don't want the time to go by. Sure I miss my friends and family back in germany but I just love my family here and I get to know so many new people and I make so many new experiences. I am totally happy :)

An hour later when we got there first we watched the awesome, big Belgum-American Parade (guys it were only maybe 12 men walking down the street with flags in their hands haha) and then church. And although it was a catholic mess it was still really different to the messes in Germany. The music was cooler and it was a way shorter. After church we went to a hall for breakfast/lunch. There I already got to know most of the family from my host dad's side. Well there was a ton of donuts and beagles and muffins haha I felt like in heaven. Yah well after hanging out with some of my host cousins, we went to my host mom's family for dinner. There were so many people and I had a few problems to remember all the names haha. But it was funny though especially because Sami (my sister) and I just fell asleep on the couch after dinner for 2 hours. Well dinner wasn't really dinner because we already ate at 3 pm haha. But it was sooooo good. Guys Turkey, mashed potatoes, cheesy potatoes, there was a lot of really yummy food.
After Sami's and my nap we even got desserts too. I just ate Apple squares and Pumpkin Pie cause I was soo full but there was a lot of food besides that too.
Well then we went to my dad's side of the family again for even more desserts ( I couldn't eat anything more besides two little cream puffs haha. Yah we just chilled there and talked and played "Pass the Ace" (a card game that only my host family plays I guess). It was just fun.
I LOVE THANKSGIVING!
and well when we are talking about THANKSgiving:
I am sooo thankful for everything right now. I am thankful for my friends back in Germany, my american friends, the opportunity to be here and especially for my family and my american family. I just love them!
Well then yesterday: Black Friday.
Okay maybe it is really special when you go shopping at night but I was to lazy to get up at 4 am when I had come home at 1 am, just to go shopping and stand in line. So I just went to the mall with a friend yesterday afternoon. I didn't buy anything and yah. For me it wasn't that special haha. But on our way back home from Omaha, we drove by a "best buy store" and we saw the people standing in line. The line was so long, they even stood around the whole building (and it's not a little one :D). I was so glad not to stand in line there.
Well this morning then my host mom and I went out for lunch with a man who she used to work with, because he wanted to get to know me cause he has a german background. It was fun although it was weird talking german again haha. It's normal to talk to my family and german friends in german but with people I don't know it's just weird in the beginning. But it was fun to hear about their connection to Germany and I hope we will meet again. I even got to know about a new band. And guess what, it's a german one haha. I already love their music and I am really glad they told me about them. I am gonna put the link to their website on here, so you can listen to them and read about them.
Well I guess that's it for now again. I am just really really happy here and I don't want the time to go by. Sure I miss my friends and family back in germany but I just love my family here and I get to know so many new people and I make so many new experiences. I am totally happy :)

101 days and totally happy :)
Hey guys :)
Yah there I am again :)
I just can't believe I am already in Nebraska for 101 days now. This just seems like such a long time but it went by soo fast. If I am thinkins about that I only have about 181 days left I am already afraid haha.
Well I am living with my new host family for 1 week now, and I just looove them :) each of them! I already feel like a part of the family after one week.
and because everybody asks me: yes I still have contact to Sarah ( my old host sister). We both want to stay friends for sure.
Well on Friday I went to the Theatre with Vivian to watch Breaking Dawn 2 :) well first we got to the theatre 10 minutes too late, because we stopped by McDonald's to get some food. Well then we got into the movie, right when the comercials were over and the movie started. The only 2 seats that were free, were in the right corner in the first row - worst seats ever, but well nothing can make this movie bad :D So we sat there in the theatre eating our McDonald's food and at the end we were sooo sad that the Twilight movies are actually over now.
After that Vivian spent the night at my house. It was soo funny cause we fell asleep in the basement and first went up to my room at 5:30 am ! :D
The next day My host mom, my host sister and her bestfriend, Vivian and I went to the Omaha Zoo. Omg! Guys the Omaha zoo is huuuuuuge :D well I think you can hear that I loved the zoo. Unfortunately I don't have any photos because - well you all know me - I forgot my camera card in my computer so I couldn't take any pictures :D But when I am going the next time I'm gonna take many many photos !
After the zoo Sami and I hang out with some friends. I learned a new card game called "Spoon" and yah guys it's as weird as it sounds :D But it's fun :)
Another weird experience was on sunday when I went to the grocerie store with my host mom. We had a looot of bags and I mean I am already used to not packing the stuff my self but letting the young people do it who work there, but this time we had so many bags that we not even took it to the car but driving by the drive through and letting them put in our car. It was soo awkward hahaha.
Well today I had kind of a short school day. It was as long as usual, but the last 2 periods my classes went to an assembly. It was soo sad, because it was about a boy who died by a car accident exactly 2 years ago. His mom was there and talked to us and I felt soo sorry for her, she still had tears in her eyes although it's 2 years ago. Well they talked a lot about his life and how he died and about the life of the man who killed him. I just felt soo uncomfortable sitting there and listening to it. So guys I am serious:
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE !
Well I guess that's it. I am just really really happy here and I hope the next 7 months are gonna go by really really slow.

New family, springfield and 94 days :)
hey guys :)
soo well there was a LOOOOT going on here.
First I went to Springfield, Missouri with my hostfamily to watch my host brother run at the nationals xc meet. It was really muuuuch time we spent in the car. But it was funny at the meet cause Sarah and I totally messed up with the spots to watch the runners so we only saw them like 3 times running by or something like that.
Thenon Saturday I met my new host family for lunch and then I went watching the house :) After that I went to the Mall with Marie and Katharina ( two other germans) to get some christmas present for our families, well especially for our families back in germany :)
At Saturday night I went to the musical "Crazy for you" at my school, and I have to say: the people know what they are doing! It was really really good :)
Then on Sunday I went to church with my "old" host parents and then I moved to my new host family. Of course it was kinda sad but I was sooo excited about my new host family:) They are sooo nice and I already love them.

Late start :)
Hey guys :)
here I am again :D well I am just posting today, cause I'm gonna go down to springfield, Missouri tomorrow to watch my host brother run at a xc meet, so I guess I would forget about today totally.
Well, today we had late start at school which means sleeping in (well till 8:15 hahaha) get up, having break fast for an hour getting ready, going to school at 10:10 ! :) Then every class only 30 minutes long , lunch after 3rd period and then the last 4 classes for 35 / 30 minutes again. It was soo awesome, wished we could have late start every day!
Well, then just home: homework and then I finally got to read a little bit in my book again. Then we watched the show called "Survivor" about people on an Island playing different challenges and so on, till only one person is left. I think the show is kinda weird, just because everybody tells somebody else to vote another person out. It's just confusing, but it's fun though.
Hahahaaa it was just so funny. My host sister comes in and her boyfriend normally was in front of the house, so when it knocked on the door, we thought it would be him. my host mother is just like " yah come in" and then two guys of the food delivery service "Schwan's" come in hahahaa. AWKWARD :D
Well, I guess that's it for today. Really short, but I decided to post it now instead of forgetting it later.

What the heck !? :o Fußfessel!
Hey guys :)
soo ich wollte einfach nur mal schnell nen post machen, weil ich gerade bisschen zeit habe und es dann auch nicht im nächsten vergessen kann :D
Alsoo gestern bin ich erstmal nach der Schule nochn bisschen in der schule geblieben und habe meine cultural foods lehrerin mit 4 anderen Mädels ausgeholfen. Es war einfach nurn Lehreressen ;)
Nachdem dann der größte teil der lehrer fertig war, haben wir sogar auch Essen bekommen :) erstmal Ofenkartoffeln mit sour cream und chili und alles was dazu gehört und dann konnte man sich den nachtisch aussuchen. Ich hab mich für die Pumpkin bars entschieden und Oh my Goddess !!! They were just delicious! Hab mir dann auch mal schnell das recipe geschnappt und das wird dann weiterhin zu Hause selbst gemacht, alsoo an meine Familie: ihr könnt euch schonmal auf Pumpkin bars freuen wenn ich wieder zurück in Germany bin! :D
Naja heute hab ich dann mal kurz nen schock bekommen. Sitze ich meiner ersten Klasse, Cultural Foods. Ich hör nur wie eins der Mädchen mit meiner Lehrerin über irgendwas mit "charge" spricht und dann setzt sie sich an nen anderen Tisch und fängt an ihre Fußfessel aufzuladen ! Und ich dachte mir nur so: What the heck !? Fußfessel! jaaa richtiges Wort. Ich war mega geschockt, dass man sowas erstens schon in meinem Alter bekommt und zweitens, dass sie so locker damit umgeht. Also auf deutschen Schulen wäre sowas nicht mal erlaubt denke ich.
Morgen habe ich dann late start, was bedeutet, dass ich erst um 10.20 in die Schule muss , wiel vorher irgendein großer Test geschrieben wird und die classes sind dann nur 30 bzw. 35 min lang :D in Deutschland hätte man einfach frei bekommen, schätze ich.

Halloween - Trick or Treat , sick and 86 days :)
Hey guys :)
soo ich weiß garnicht wann ich das letzte mal gepostet hab, aber ich denke diesmal ist es nur ne woche her oder so ;)
also ist soo viel auch garnicht passiert, aber es war Halloween :)
naja also ich hab mir halloween hier ja mit mehr party vorgestellt und so, aber naja, war halt nicht :D
Also du gehst erstmal ganz normal zur schule, manche leute sind verkleidet, aber wirklich nur seeehr seehhr wenige :D und dann gehst du nach hause, machst hausaufgabe, ganz normal eben.
und naajaa ich bin dann abends zu ner Freundin gegangen, wo dann n paar leute waren ich würde mal schätzen so um die 20 oder so ;) Es war sogar ne mischung aus Deutschen und Amerikanern, weil die letzte woche ja die austauschschüler aus Coburg hier waren :) Mega nette Menschen und es war mal wieder schön n bisschen deutsch mit neuen leuten zu reden, obwohl ich mir erstmal nicht so sicher war ob ich deutsch oder englisch reden soll :D
najaa alsoo dann waren wir auf jeden fall da, haben uns alle erstmal mit cookies und sowas vollgestopft und sind dann durch die Nachbarschaft gegangen. Trick or treat ist zwar an sich ganz lustig, aber wir waren einfach zuu viele Leute in der Gruppe, deswegen haben nur manche richtig vieeel candy bekommen :D was die dann auch mal schön danach im haus alles aufgefuttert haben :D najaa bin dann um halb 10 heim, weil 10 meine curfew war und jaa, das war's dann auch schon für halloween. Am nächsten Tag ganz normal in die Schule und außer ab und zu nem "and what did you do for halloween?" war das thema auch schon wieder vergessen. Naja es war ne neue Erfahrung und das reicht ;)
naja seit dienstag bin ich dann auch mal schön fett erkältet und hör jetzt schon seit 2 tagen so gut wie nur mich selbst reden, weil meine ohren irgendein problem haben und zu sind -.- aber naja das war meine erste RICHTIGE erkältung in den USA :D abgesehn von dem bisschen während der XC season .
naja ich geh dann mal Amazing Race gucken mit meinen Gasteltern ;)
ich meld mich ganz bald wieder, und der post wird dann wieder auf englisch sein ;) ich werde jetzt nämlich abwechseln habe ich beschlosse :D

79 days, Husker Game, Pumpkin carving, Roca Berry Farm...
Hey guys :)
okay I know it was a long time since my last post, and yah I know a few of you will be like " why the heck is she writing in english", well I guess this is gonna be a mix out of english and german. Just because I am in America how you know for sure, so I should write in english :D
well there is too much that happened the last 2 weeks, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna forget most of it haha.
Let's just start with Wednesday, because that's like the only day I remember before this weekend haha.
soo well wednesday was kinda busy.
First I had my first Drama club meeting, which was kind of weird, just because they forgot to make an announcement and we were only 4 people, since all the other people were already practicing for the play :D Well, a girl just showed us a little bit about how to do stage make-up and special effects make up, like wounds and so on. Then after incredible 20 minutes we were done haha. But since we had to wait for someone to pick us up, Marie and I just sat down in the lunch room and started doing homework. At 5.10 then I got home, did my french homework, and had to leave at 6 again for the Cross Country banquet :)
The XC banquet was awesome :) Well besides the fact that there was a lot of food :D Okay I have to admit I got really sad at this evening, just because I realized that it was the last time that all the XC people were together. I really miss being with them every day, I would even accept the running for that :D
well after the eating we all got awards or at least participations haha. but hey don't think I just got that, no I got an award too ;) and I even got a shirt :) Now I've got an memory forever.
Well then the seniors held their speeches and after that we all said goodbye to them.
Okay, stop with the sad stuff now haha. Go on to friday night. Friday night I went to the Roca Berry Farm , which is a haunted house, I hope you all know what that means haha. Well I went there with my sister, her best friend and Anna. It was sooo cold, but so funny though. First we went to this cabbage car ride thing, no idea how to call it. you are in like that open thing and then you drive through the fields and costumed scary people jump onto the car thing and scream at you and yah. Okay the ones of you that know me really really well, know that I start talking really much when I am scaredor nervous hahaa. After the first 5 minutes, I stopped being scared and just talked to the scary people, just stupid things like "can I have your number?" and well it worked haha. I wasn't afraid anymore and they stopped screaming at me and went on to the other people. It was sooo funny :D
well then there was this other thing where you are just going through the forest and then there are different spots where "scary" people come to you and scream at you and so on. well since I am me, I just talked all the way and made even fun out of the people :D Anna and I even took the wrong way ones and one of those people had to show us the right way, it was the guy with the saw and since they are not allowed to talk to us he just pointed out the way with his arm :D another guy even forgot to scream at us and just stood in front of us and looked at us, my comment on that "Oh I'm sorry but you missed your scream!" :D It was soo funny. Normally it would have been really scary but yah just make fun out of it haha.
okay yesterday then (Saturday) I went to the Exchange student meeting, and did my first pumpkin carving :) it was kind of gross, cold but fun anyway. After that we watched a movie, but I had to leave early cause my host family and I went to the Husker game.

Yah right we went to the Memorial stadium and watched it :) and guys seriously, if you ever have the chance, DO IT !!! It was by far the best experience I had so far in the USA! :)
It was just amazing, I can't even explain it. Even in front of the stadium when you saw all those many people. And then you go in up to your gate. And then you go through this opening thing and you see the stadium! well I already saw it once at this marching band exhibition thing, but yesterday it was a totally different thing! Your see like all the people, dressed in red, going in there, going to their seats, the smell of hot dogs, pizza and Runza. I will never forget this feeling! well then we went to our seats, sat down and had to wait like an hour. But finally the stadium was full of people ( over 86,000) and the Husker team ran onto the field. Guys, cheering americans are awesome :D even if football isn't really your thing, you are just in the middle of it and can't help feeling awesome :) There was a lot of screaming a few drunken people and very little Michigan fans. Well during the game my host mom explained the game to me because before I really had no idea how it works haha. although everybody already tried to explain it to me. Well I GOT IT ! haha. yah i finally know how football goes. well it was just an amazing time and I don't even know how to tell you about it, I wished you could have seen it yourself!

Well I guess I have to stop now, it got a little bit too much haaha.
And there wasn't that much more interesting that happened. Today I went to sunday school the frist time, which was already more fun than the normal service although I didn't know really many people haha.
oh and totally forgot about that: I GOT MY LEARNER'S PERMIT ! :) yah well I COULD drive with an adult next to me know, but since I am not allowed to, I won't. But in 6 months I can get my Driver liscence and yah, well I still won't be supposed to drive here but when I am back in germany I can transfer my liscence :)
soo yah I am sorry it got so long, but it was just really much going on this week :) and I am sorry for the germans of you, I am so lazy now that I won't translate it, maybe some other day ;)

okay I know it was a long time since my last post, and yah I know a few of you will be like " why the heck is she writing in english", well I guess this is gonna be a mix out of english and german. Just because I am in America how you know for sure, so I should write in english :D
well there is too much that happened the last 2 weeks, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna forget most of it haha.
Let's just start with Wednesday, because that's like the only day I remember before this weekend haha.
soo well wednesday was kinda busy.
First I had my first Drama club meeting, which was kind of weird, just because they forgot to make an announcement and we were only 4 people, since all the other people were already practicing for the play :D Well, a girl just showed us a little bit about how to do stage make-up and special effects make up, like wounds and so on. Then after incredible 20 minutes we were done haha. But since we had to wait for someone to pick us up, Marie and I just sat down in the lunch room and started doing homework. At 5.10 then I got home, did my french homework, and had to leave at 6 again for the Cross Country banquet :)
The XC banquet was awesome :) Well besides the fact that there was a lot of food :D Okay I have to admit I got really sad at this evening, just because I realized that it was the last time that all the XC people were together. I really miss being with them every day, I would even accept the running for that :D
well after the eating we all got awards or at least participations haha. but hey don't think I just got that, no I got an award too ;) and I even got a shirt :) Now I've got an memory forever.
Well then the seniors held their speeches and after that we all said goodbye to them.
Okay, stop with the sad stuff now haha. Go on to friday night. Friday night I went to the Roca Berry Farm , which is a haunted house, I hope you all know what that means haha. Well I went there with my sister, her best friend and Anna. It was sooo cold, but so funny though. First we went to this cabbage car ride thing, no idea how to call it. you are in like that open thing and then you drive through the fields and costumed scary people jump onto the car thing and scream at you and yah. Okay the ones of you that know me really really well, know that I start talking really much when I am scaredor nervous hahaa. After the first 5 minutes, I stopped being scared and just talked to the scary people, just stupid things like "can I have your number?" and well it worked haha. I wasn't afraid anymore and they stopped screaming at me and went on to the other people. It was sooo funny :D
well then there was this other thing where you are just going through the forest and then there are different spots where "scary" people come to you and scream at you and so on. well since I am me, I just talked all the way and made even fun out of the people :D Anna and I even took the wrong way ones and one of those people had to show us the right way, it was the guy with the saw and since they are not allowed to talk to us he just pointed out the way with his arm :D another guy even forgot to scream at us and just stood in front of us and looked at us, my comment on that "Oh I'm sorry but you missed your scream!" :D It was soo funny. Normally it would have been really scary but yah just make fun out of it haha.
okay yesterday then (Saturday) I went to the Exchange student meeting, and did my first pumpkin carving :) it was kind of gross, cold but fun anyway. After that we watched a movie, but I had to leave early cause my host family and I went to the Husker game.

Yah right we went to the Memorial stadium and watched it :) and guys seriously, if you ever have the chance, DO IT !!! It was by far the best experience I had so far in the USA! :)
It was just amazing, I can't even explain it. Even in front of the stadium when you saw all those many people. And then you go in up to your gate. And then you go through this opening thing and you see the stadium! well I already saw it once at this marching band exhibition thing, but yesterday it was a totally different thing! Your see like all the people, dressed in red, going in there, going to their seats, the smell of hot dogs, pizza and Runza. I will never forget this feeling! well then we went to our seats, sat down and had to wait like an hour. But finally the stadium was full of people ( over 86,000) and the Husker team ran onto the field. Guys, cheering americans are awesome :D even if football isn't really your thing, you are just in the middle of it and can't help feeling awesome :) There was a lot of screaming a few drunken people and very little Michigan fans. Well during the game my host mom explained the game to me because before I really had no idea how it works haha. although everybody already tried to explain it to me. Well I GOT IT ! haha. yah i finally know how football goes. well it was just an amazing time and I don't even know how to tell you about it, I wished you could have seen it yourself!

Omaha, Cross country, South Dakota, Fall Break, weather and 66 days :)
Hey guys :)
Okay das mit dem post über Schule wurde wohl nichts :D Evt schaff ich es morgen, wenn ich Zeit habe, weil wir haben ja heute und morgen "fall break" :) Well wenn man 2 tage wirklich als Ferien bezeichnen kann.
Der heutige Tag ist erst mal dazu da um alles zu klären, was ich bei dem ganzen Stress nicht geschafft habe.
Erstmal mit meiner Mama und Schwester geskypt ♥ , dann October report beantwortet, endlich mal ne email an meine Omi geschrieben, jetzt mal was posten, und dann wird noch fleißig für den Test morgen gelernt. Das ist der Test für meine Learners permit, die ich brauch damit ich dann in 6 Monaten meine Driver's liscense machen kann :) Achja und ich schätze homework habe ich auch noch n bisschen.
Letztes Wochenende war ich mit Anna, Micah und Micahs mom und schwester in Omaha shoppen :) Naja es war mehr sight seeing, essen kurz shoppen und heim :D But it was soo much fun :) Wir haben bei Spaghetti works gegessen und ohjee Leute die Tortellini, die ich da endlich mal wieder hatte, waren die besten Tortellinis die ich jemals gegessen habe! und das lustigste ist, du bekommst deinen teller einfach umsonst nachgefüllt wenn du willst! Genauso mit dem Pizza brot oder was du auch immer dazu ausgesucht hast, dass bekommst du völlig umsonst und so oft nachgefüllt wie du willst ! :O Anna und ich haben uns ja nicht mehr eingekriegt! :D
Cross Country season is over since tuesday, since tehre was the last meet . On the one hand I am really glad that I don't have to run anymore, but I am sad though. Not seeing the people everyday is really weird. And the last few weeks were so much fun with all of them :) Thanks to everyone for that! :)
Außerdem frag ich mich echt wie ich jetzt die 13 pounds wieder loswerden soll, die ich in den letzten 2 Monaten gewonnen hab :D
Well, weil XC jetzt vorbei ist, werde ich in den Drama club gehen, einfach wiel es mit Spaß macht und ich neue Leute kennenlernen will.
Naja die letzten beiden Tage waren meine Gasteltern , Sarah und ich dann jetzt in South Dakota, um das XC rennen von meinem Bruder zu schauen. Dann sind wir nach Sioux falls zu Freunden gefahren wo wir dann die Nacht verbracht haben. Abends war ich dann mit Sarah und Sonntagsmorgens mit Sarah und meinen Gasteltern in der Empire Mall in Soux falls, und Leute die Mall ist rieeeeeeeeeesig !!! :D Sonntags dann nach der Mall wieder mal über 3 Studnen im Auto gehockt und durch Iowa zurück nach Nebraska gefahren. Die Fahrt aber ziemlich lustig, da Sarah fuhr und ich dann vorne saß, während Amy und Dan auf der rückbank saßen :D Naja dann haben wir noch Dan's Mutter besucht und dann ab nah Hause. So viel wie gestern hab ich schon langnicht mehr gegessen :D Erst frühstück, dann lunch in der mall mit cookie als nachtisch, dann haben Sarah und eine riesige packung von TEddy Grahams auf der Fahrt gegessen, cupcakes, und dann noch dinner bei Dan's Mutter mit Torte als Nachtisch :D Und das alles über ne kurze Zeit verteilt ich dachte ich platze :D
Naja hier ist es jetzt echt Herbst, dass merkt man am wetter. Okay es hat bis jetzt trotzdem erst 2 mal geregnet seit ich hier bin :D aber es ist richtig kalt geworden. Manchmal ist es jetzt schon -3 °C wenn ich morgens aus dem Haus gehe, okay die Temperaturen steigen dann oft wieder auf 25 °C nachmittags aber naja :D
Well, I guess that's it :) I will talk to you guys later and maybe there will be a post about High School tomorrow , I don't know yet. We'll see.

Fight on the hallway at school ! WHAT !?? :D
Okay Guys, das wird wirklich ein ganz kurzer Eintrag. Eigentlich wollte ich mal über die Schule hier schreiben, aber das werde ich auf's week end verschieben, weil ich jetzt einfach keine Lust habe :D
Aber eine Sache musste ich euch jetzt erzählen!
Okay, also ich dachte "Kloppereien" in französischen Schulen wären heftig (10 fb ihr wisst wovon ich rede :D ), aaaaber das ist garnichts gegen das was heute an meiner Schule abgegangen ist.
Lunch ( total special heute 40 min lang anstatt 30 :) ) war grad vorbei und ich war grad noch an meinem Locker um meine beidne bücher zu holen, die ich dann immer brauche ( Adv Algebra and spanish) und jaaa...
Als ich dann um die Ecke gekommen bin, hab ich nur noch gesehen dass irgendeine Flüssigkeit durch die Luft geflogen ist, es war ein Getränk von McDonald's, was ich dann später an dem Becher gesehen hab :D. Dann hat man auch schon die beiden Mädels gesehen, die sich an den Haaren durch en Flur gezerrt haben und sich angeschrien haben und den Typ der dazwischen hing und versucht hat die beiden auseinander zu bekommen. Und mit der Zeit kamen immer mehr Leute dazu, die drum herum standen und zugeguckt haben. Ich wollte eigentlich dazwischen gehen, aber ehrlich gesagt, hat mir das ganze ein bisschen Angst gemacht :D Naja , auf jeden fall hat dann das eine Mädel, dem anderen noch eine ins Gesicht verpasst, man sagt sogar gebrochen und blutig ( ich hab kein blut gesehen aber naja :D ) und dann kam auch schon einer von unseren Security- Kerlen und hat die auseinandergerissen. Als nächstes kam dann die Direktorin, hat die beiden nur streng angeguckt, und auf die und ihren Raum gezeigt. Naja, die sind dann halt darin verschwunden und alle haben angefangen, darüber zu reden.
Und das alles in 5 min !!! Es war echt sehhhr weird :D
Alsoo naja, ich hoffe sowas passiert hier nicht allzu oft, weil man echt nicht wusste , was man tun soll. Es war aber auf jeden Fall DAS Gespräch des Tages.
So das wollte ich euch nur mal kurz mitteilen. I will post more ( about school and my week) on the week end , I guess.

Day 52!
Hey guys,
sooo da ich grade Zeit habe, dachte ich mir, poste ich doch nochmal direkt was.
Auch wenn es nicht so wirklich viel zu erzählen gibt.
Samstag abend war ich dann mit Anna :) bei dem Play "Almost Main" in meiner high school und ich muss sagen, " Hut ab!" unser Drama club hat es echt richtig drauf. Ich sollte mir doch nochmal seeeeeehr gut überlegen, ob ich da wirklich einsteigen will :D
Naja Sonntag war dann der neu eingeführte Family-Day. Erst mal zur church, was dieses mal eigentlich ganz lustig war, ich fang an die Musik da zu mögen, die Stimmung ist mega, und wir hatten am Sonntag nen jüngeren Pastor der mega cool drauf ist! Ständig Witze am reißen und jaaa... Naja ich mein man kann hier dir church eh nicht mit der in Deustchland vergleichen. Erstens ist die church zu der ich hier gehe eine freie, evangelische Kirche, was ja schonmal an sich ein mega Unterschied ist zu einer Katholischen :D Aber ich denke sie ist auch trotzdem noch mal seehr unterschiedlich von einer Kirche dessen Art in Deutschland ;) Naja auf jeden Fall, bekomm ich langsam Spaß dran, auch wenn ich ( wie ihr alle wohl wisst) nicht wirklich gläubig bin :D
Dann nach der Church ging's für meine Gasteltern und mich auf ein Soybean field und dann bin ich mit einem Familienfreund auf diesem combine (Traktor) und hab ihm dann bei seiner Arbeit zugeguckt und einfach mit ihm gelabert. War mega lustig ! Und Leute, ihr würdet nicht glauben, wie viel Geld er allein mit den Soybeans verdient und wie viele Soybeans es am Ende in seinem Truck sind. Ich weiß keine Zahl aber wenn ihr alleine seinen Laster vollgeladen seht :O
Danach nach Hause bisschen chillen, bis dann meine Gastschwester von der Arbeit kam. Dann hieß es Boccia mit der gesamten Familie und danach eine Show im tv gucken : " Amazing race". Und ich muss sagen ich die Show :)
Naja aus meinem Tief bin ich jetzt ein bisschen raus, aber es ist noch vieles da, was mich ein bisschen stört, aber naja ist halt ne Phase, die jeder durchmacht und das wird sich auch wieder ändern ;)
Aber eins bleibt: Auch wenn ich es hier in den USA liebe, es gibt viele Dinge, die in Deutschland besser sind und dazu zählt besonders meine Familie. Ich hab in den letzten 2 Monaten hier schon gelernt, wie unglaublich toll meine Familie ist und besonders meine Mama. Sie tut alles für mich, das weiß ich jetzt. MAMA, ICH LIEBE DICH !!! ♥ Just putting this out there.
XC practice wird diese Woche ziemlich entspannt denke ich, da es hier jetzt wirklich verdammt runtergekühlt ist, seit heute. nur noch 23 °C :o
Aber naja für's laufen ist es super :)
So ich denke, dass war es auch schon wieder ;) Sollte ja nur mal kurz sein, da mir grad langweilig war :D

Nebraska, week 7
Hey there :)
soo ohjee ich wollte schon grad anfangen auf englisch zu schreiben :D naja wäre wahrscheinlich interessanter für meine Freunde hier, evt sollte ich mal anfangen meinen Blog auf englisch zu führen, ich überleg's mir.
Naja Woche 7 ist jetzt auch schon vorbei, und wenn du dir überlegst das ich jetzt schon 2 Monate von Germany weg bin, da ich ja noch in NY war, das ist schon sau lang irgendwie.
Only 8 months left :O oh nein, grade realisiert...
Naja diese Woche hatte ich so eindeutig meine Höhen und Tiefen. Leider haben die Tiefen oft überwiegt :D
Ein Höhepunkt war das skypen mit Nina ♥ einer sehr sehr seeeeehr guten Freundin von mir. Es tat so gut, sie mal wieder zu sehen nach 2 Monaten und mit ihr über alles mögliche zu labern.
Und ein weiterer Höhepunkt war auf alle Fälle KINO !!! Wir haben "House at the End of the Street" geschaut, und OH MY GODNESS, ich lieeeebe diesen Film ! Leide rkönnt ihr Deutschen den Film erst im Januar sehen, weil er erst dann in die Kinos kommt bei euch, hahaa :P
Leider hatte ich die letzte Woche nur öfters mal Streit mit meiner Gastschwester, und alle Kleinigkeiten die mich stören haben sich angehäuft und ich hatte einfach keine Lust mehr. Aber nachdem ich mit meiner Gastfamilie drüber gesprochen habe, ist soweit wieder alles gut :) Also an alles Austauschschüler, jetzige oder auch zukünftige: Redet mit euren Gastfamilien, es hilft! Auch wenn trotzdem nicht alles perfekt ist, es ist besser als vorher.
Naja Schule läuft super und ich lerne immer mehr Leute kennen und habe einfach Spaß mit meinen Freunden :) Heute Abend geht's zum play in die Schule :) mal sehen was unser Dramaclub so drauf hat.
Und in genau 10 Tagen bin ich auch endlich mit XC fertig ! Hatte gestern mein vorletztes meet und wir habens es geschafft ! Wir sind champions und haben endlich unsere trophäe bekommen :) Jetzt nur noch einmal Samstags practice und ein meet und natürlich Training die Woche über jeden Tag und dann ist es endlich vollbracht ! :)
Achja gestern hab ich dann mal kurz nen Schock bekommen. Meine ältere Gastschwester Caroline hatte Geburtstag und wurde 21. Und Leute ihr glaubt nicht, wie ich geguckt habe, als ihr Freund mit nem mega riesen Geschenk ankam. Als sie es dann ausgepackt hat, war mein Blick wahrscheinlich noch dümmer :D Er hat ihr allen Ernstes ein Gewehr geschenkt. Ein riesiges echtes Gewehr ! :DD Sowas gibts auch nur in den USA!
Naja ich denke, das war's dann mal wieder von mir ! :) achja zum Homecoming werden noch immer Fotos kommen, hab sie bis jetzt immer noch nicht alle bekomme ;)

soo ohjee ich wollte schon grad anfangen auf englisch zu schreiben :D naja wäre wahrscheinlich interessanter für meine Freunde hier, evt sollte ich mal anfangen meinen Blog auf englisch zu führen, ich überleg's mir.
Naja Woche 7 ist jetzt auch schon vorbei, und wenn du dir überlegst das ich jetzt schon 2 Monate von Germany weg bin, da ich ja noch in NY war, das ist schon sau lang irgendwie.
Only 8 months left :O oh nein, grade realisiert...
Naja diese Woche hatte ich so eindeutig meine Höhen und Tiefen. Leider haben die Tiefen oft überwiegt :D
Ein Höhepunkt war das skypen mit Nina ♥ einer sehr sehr seeeeehr guten Freundin von mir. Es tat so gut, sie mal wieder zu sehen nach 2 Monaten und mit ihr über alles mögliche zu labern.

Homecoming ♥
Hey :)
soooo gestern war endlich der langersehnte Tag des Homecoming.
Najaa soo aufgeregt war ich garnicht, weil ich dazu viel zu viel im Stress war mit Schule und XC, aber ich habb mich schon drauf gefreut :)
Begonnen hat der Tag auf jedenfallmit gemischten Gefühlen.
Meine gastschwester und ich hatten nen Streit im Auto auf dem Weg zur Schule, weil wir viiiiiel zu spät dran waren ( und Leute es lag nicht an mir! :DD) aber naja wir sind nunmal Schwestern, da kommt sowas vor.
Dann erste Period Cultural foods. Meine Gruppe durfte erst mal noch alle Zucchini Rezepte der anderen gruppen probieren, weil wir am Donnerstag unsere Zucchini Quesedillas (amazing, everybody loved it) gekocht haben, während alle anderen schon am probieren waren :D Ich mein es gibt schlimmeres als am morgen Brownies, Schokokuchen, Zucchini-brownies und Zucchini bread (nur halt alles mit zucchini) zu probieren :D Es hat alles sooo gut geschmeckt :)
Naja dann French und dann erst mal Pep Rally für ca. 40 min. Alsoo dann ist die ganze Schule in einer Turnhalle und es gibt Cheerleading Auftritte, News, games, dances, Spirit King & Queen wurden gekrönt etc.
Und OMG soooo süß :) Ein Typ hat mitten in der Sporthalle sein Date zum Homecoming eingeladen. Es war so verdammt süß :) typisch american halt.
Da merkt man den School spirit an american high schools. Sowas sollte in Deutschland eingeführt werden.
Der Rest des Schultages verlief eigentlich ganz normal.
Dann Schulschluss um 3 und direkt ab zum XC Practice um 3.15, wieso auch immer die das nicht ausfallen lassen haben. Nein wir hatten "long run" als workout :D okay wir haben den long run etwas gekürzt und somit musste ich nur 5 meilen (8km) laufen. Glaubt mir Leute, ich bin noch nie in meinem Leben 5 meilen innerhalb von 40 min gelaufen :D
War dann um kurz nach 4 fertig und dann ging's ab nach hause.
Was ich wirklich nicht gut fand, war die Planung unserer Schule. Die hat nämlich das Homecoming Game auf den gleichen Tag gelegt wie den dance, was normalerweise nicht so ist. Ich mein wo ist der Sinn ? Das macht den Cheerleadern, Tänzerinnen, Marchingband leuten, footballspielern und den Zuschauern doch nur unnötig Stress. Wie sollen die bitte pünktlich um 9 beim Dance erscheinen, wenn das Spiel erst um halb 5 anfängt ? :D Sowas von verdammt unlogisch. Naja, auf jeden Fall konnte ich deswegen das Homecoming Game nicht sehen :( Was ich wirklich gewollt hätte, aber naja, kann man nichts machen.
Also nach Hause, fertig gemacht, und dann hatte ich noch 2 Stunden Zeit bevor Anna und ich zu unserer Gruppe gefahren sind. Ich hätte mir soo viel mehr Zeit lassen können :D
Naja dann um 8 zu unserer Group gefahren. Ohjeee, ca. 22 Leute und ich kannte davon ganze 4 personen :D Aber naja, ich hab sie kennengelernt. Dann Fotos gemacht, Italienisches Dinner gehabt und dann um halb 10 ab zum dance. Okay Leute, wenn ich ehrlich bin, es war kinda boring. Kaum jemand hat getanzt, außer unserer Gruppe :D und joaaa... naja wir waren da nur ca ne Stunde. Mussten nur warten bis die Royality gekrönt wurde, weil eigentlich alle männlichen Kandidaten in unserer Gruppe waren und ein nominiertes Mädchen auch. Alsoo haben wir das abgewartet und als unser King gekrönt war ( er hat nicht mal ne Krone bekommen wieso auch immer, haben die anscheinend vergessen, da die Queen eine hatte :D ) sind wir dann ziemlich direkt losgefahren zu Sarah's house :)
Da haben wir dann einfach nur gechillt und gegessen. War eigentlich ganz lustig. Alsoo ich mein die Zeit vor und nach dem Dance war besser als der part in der Schule :D weird :D
okay ich habe so ziemlich das Gefühl, das es das war. Bin mir nicht sicher, aber naja notfalls kann ich es ja immer noch bearbeiten und ihr könnt fragen und ich antworte ;)

Feueralarm !
Hey guys,
ich wollte euch nur mal kurz mitteilen, dass heute schon der 6 Feueralarm inden letzten 5 Wochen war :D Und dieses Mal war es keine Übung. Aber es war nichts schlimmes, es hat nur jemand nicht aufgepasst beim chilli-rösten in der cooking class. Aber dafür durften wir ne halbe Stunde vor der Schule rumsitzen und ein Lehrer hat mit n paar Schülern "Simon says" gespielt ! Seriously ? Also wenn ein Feuer in meiner Schule ist, hab ich besseres zu tun, als "Simon says" zu spielen :D
Dann hatte ich heute mal anstatt normalen XC practice, water practice ! AWESOME!!! :) Bestes practice das ich jemals hatte. Es war einfach nur 40 min lang am Stück im tiefen Wasser laufen. Also eben Laufbewegungen machen, was relativ anstrengend ist, weil du ja keinen Boden hast :D und dann immer mal 2 min "hard", alsoo sozusagen im Wasser sprinten und dann 30 sec "easy" und dann wieder 2 min "hard". Ja es war anstrengend, ihr könnt es ja mal ausprobieren, aber es hat sich so gut angefühlt und es hat richtig Spaß gemacht :) Leider war es mein erstes und letztes Water practice, da wir das in jeder Season nur einmal machen.
uiiii morgen ist Homecoming :)) Ich freu mich schon so sehr darauf :))

Week 6 ♥ and totally happy :)
Hey guys :)
okay ich hab gerade gemerkt, dass ich seit 3 wochen nichts mehr gepostet hab und es tut mir unendlich leid. Aber ich hab hier einfach keine Zeit gehabt zum posten. Ich war vollkommen ausgeplant mit Schule, Cross country, freunden usw.
Cross Country
Also XC ist ziemlich anstrengend die letzten 3 Wochen, weil wir ständig meets (Rennen) haben.
mein erstes meet hatte ich in Omaha (Friday, September 7 / 3.1 Meilen = 5 km) und ab dann immer im Pioneers Park Lincoln ( 10.9 , 13.9, 17.9 / immer 2.5 Meilen = 4 km). Alsoo wenn ihr euch die Daten anguckt, seht ihr was ich mit ausgeplant meine :D
Aber hey, die Cross Country Season geht nur noch bis zum 9. Oktober, das heißt nur noch 17 Tage practice und ich hab es geschafft :) obwohl ich jetzt endlich besser werde und Samstags Morgens auch die 6 meilen (10 km) schaffe. Naja ich bin froh, when it's over :)
Schule
Schule läuft ziemlich gut, alles ziemlich easy. Heute die Mid-Quarter-Grades bekommen und in allen 7 Fächern ein A :) was will man mehr?
Am Freitag ist Homecoming :) Just saying! I'm soooooo excited.
Mit Freunden läuft es jetzt ziemlich gut. Ich hab eig in jeder class jemanden zum reden und eine Gruppe von n paar Freunden mit denen ich ziemlich oft was mache :) Ob es einfach nur ist, zu Scooters zu fahren und nen Smoothie zu drinken, oder sich bei einem von uns ins Haus zu chillen und ne dumme, aber lustige Show zu gucken :D
Im übrigen hab ich jetzt hier auch endlich mal ein handy, also kein neues, sondern nur ne amerikanische sim card. Es tat so gut nach 3 Wochen ohne, mal wieder Kontakt zu Menschen aufnehmen zu können und wenn es nur ist, wann man abgeholt wird.
Außerdem war letztes Wochenende ziemlich viel geskype hier :D Ich habe am Freitag Abend eine Stunde mit Tathi ♥ geskypt und Samtags ging das ganze über 3 Stunden weiter :D Dann noch mit Theresia geskypt ( a german friend, who is in France now, for 6 months :) ) und noch kurz mit meinem Vater und meiner Schwester.
Mit meiner Schwester und meiner Mutter hatte ich schon vorletztes Wochenende geskypt, das erste mal die Familie sehen nach einem Monat , tat gut :) Obwohl es sehr komisch ist deutsch zu reden und meine Schwester und meine Mutter einiges zum lachen hatten, wegen meinen Englischbrocken :D Richtig lustig wurde es aber mit Theresia, weil sie andauern french mit reinbringen wollte und ich english :D

week 3
Hey guys :)
soo die 3. Woche ist auch schon wieder vorbei.
Die Zeit vegeht so schnell. Wenn ich in der Schule sitze, zieht sich die Zeit so sehr, aber wenn man dann mal zurückschaut, ist schon viel zu viel Zeit vergangen !
Soviel gibts über die Woche garnicht zu sagen, denke ich ;)
Ich durfte jeden Tag nach der Schule, anstatt zum cc practice zu gehen, zur "Krankengymnastik" wegen meinen Knien. Und gestern konnte ich deswegen nicht beim race mitlaufen -.- it sucks! Alsoo wenn ich sage Krankengymnastik, meine ich damit verdammt anstrengende 30 min Work-outs aufm stepper und so weiter. Ja Krankengymnastik hier sieht anders aus :D
Dann hatte meine Gastschwester noch Geburtstag, was wir aber nicht so wirkich gefeiert haben, fällt mir grade auf, aber es war auch ein normaler Schultag, alsoo hatten wir dafür kaum Zeit. Komisch fand ich nur, dass sich die Leute hier gratulieren ohne jegliche Geste ;) Weder hand schütteln noch umarmen. Aber najaa...
Ähhm jaa ESSEN:
Ich hab am Donnerstag versucht, pfannkuchen zu machen, aber irgendeine Zutat ist hier anders als in Deutschland, deswegen hat es leicht anders geschmeckt, aber es war okay ;)
Gestern hatte ich dann meinen ersten Cupcake :) Selbst gemacht. I LOVE CUPCAKES! :D
Gestern war ich dann mit Vivian und 3 Freunden (Sarah, James , Micah) im theatre und habe mit ihnen den 2. teil von "The dark knight" geschaut :) Nachdem wir erstmal 10 min zu spät im Kino ankamen und der Film schon angefangen hatte :D Danach sind wir noch kurz was essen gegangen und dann n bisschen rumgefahren und mal bei jedem von den Dreien zu Hause gewesen, bis wir (Vivian, James, Sarah) dann bei Sarah im Garten lagen, einfach nur gequatsch haben und die Sterne beobachtet haben. Such an amazing day ! :)
Er war nur leider vieeel zu kurz :D
najaa ich werde jetzt demnächst evt endlich mal ne Sim Card bekommen, damit ich nach 3 Wochen mal wieder ein Cell-Phone habe :))
und Morgen habe ich keine Schule, weil Labor Day in America ist :))
Ich denke, das war es erstmal wieder ;)

soo die 3. Woche ist auch schon wieder vorbei.
Die Zeit vegeht so schnell. Wenn ich in der Schule sitze, zieht sich die Zeit so sehr, aber wenn man dann mal zurückschaut, ist schon viel zu viel Zeit vergangen !
Soviel gibts über die Woche garnicht zu sagen, denke ich ;)
Ich durfte jeden Tag nach der Schule, anstatt zum cc practice zu gehen, zur "Krankengymnastik" wegen meinen Knien. Und gestern konnte ich deswegen nicht beim race mitlaufen -.- it sucks! Alsoo wenn ich sage Krankengymnastik, meine ich damit verdammt anstrengende 30 min Work-outs aufm stepper und so weiter. Ja Krankengymnastik hier sieht anders aus :D
Dann hatte meine Gastschwester noch Geburtstag, was wir aber nicht so wirkich gefeiert haben, fällt mir grade auf, aber es war auch ein normaler Schultag, alsoo hatten wir dafür kaum Zeit. Day 17 :)
Hey guys,
jaa ich meld mich schon wieder ;) aber wenn ihr keine bock das hier zu lesen, dann tut es einfach nicht :D
Also erstmal konnte ich heute kein CC practice mitmachen, weil ich bei unserem "schularzt" ( oder wie auch immer man ihn nennen will) war, weil meine knie seit letzter woche dienstag beim laufen und treppen steigen und sowas mega wehtun. Durfte dann heute ne stunde lang übungen dafür machen, dass das besser wird und das ganze morgen dann wieder, aber hoffentlich vor cc so das ich noch practice mitmachen kann :)
ansonsten gehts mir hier wirklich gut. Ab und zu hab ich zwar mal phasen, wo ich mir wirklich denke, was ich hier überhaupt mache, aber meien gastfamilie ist super, so langsam kommen auch Freunde dazu und jaaa einfach alles super :) in der Schule steh ich im moment in allen 7 Fächern auf nem A, alsoo würd ich mal sagen das läuft :D
achjaa , ich bin ja in Adv Algebra, also das ist mein Mathekurs. Die haben da wirklich tests, die nennen sich "homework-check" und es ist das geilste was ich je gehört habe:
Du hast einfach deine Blätter vor dir liegen, wo die Hausaufgaben der gesamten Woche drauf sind ( die auch schon alle in der klasse kontrolliert und verbessert wurden) und musst eifnahc nur die gefragten Aufgaben auf das testblatt kopieren :DD es ist so mega genial :D natürlich gib es dann auch noch quiz und richtige tests ( morgen kommt ein richtiger Test) und joaa....
Ohh Leutee ? Ich schätze mal so ziemlich alle von euch kennen die St martins- Bretzeln , die mit zuckerüberzug und so, ne !? hier gibt es Donuts, die schmecken GANZ GENAU so ! :)) Das heißt ich kann sowas jetzt das ganze Jahr über essen und nicht nur in nem bestimmten Zeitraum :D
okay, ich schätze das war mal wieder genug dummes Gelaber für heute ;)
